I moved to the western mountains of North Carolina known as the High Country in 2002. My wife, Janet, and I purchased property years ago with plans, like many of you, to retire in this majestic setting that God created.

After starting several manufacturing businesses and marketing companies, I was literally trapped in what we know as the business “Rat Race”, living part time in New York City, South Florida, where my corporate offices were located, and choosing to live in Central Florida in the Orlando area. My life was forever changed on September 11, 2001. While leaving my apartment on the upper Westside of Manhattan, I watched what would become a defining moment in my life. I truly believe "We Will Never Forget the terror of 9/11."

I made a commitment to simplify my life and spend more time with my wife, daughter and son. Yes, it was time to move to the mountains.

Janet, my wife and Dana, my daughter along with three cats; Sherlock, Cueball and Zippy and our new Pound Hound “Watson” now live the “Laid Back Life” in Valle Crucis.

After 30 years of large business entrepreneurial endeavors, I chose a career in Real Estate.

I am full time in real estate, and although I live a laid back life, I commit 100% professional effort to my real estate business and my RE/MAX franchise. I can make buying real estate a "No Brainer".

I am a licensed Realtor® / Broker, hold several professional designations and recently started a local radio show.

This is a wonderful area to search for second homes, a retirement home, a mountain investment, or simply to live a life of “Laid Back Living".
