The warm Gulf Stream flows within five miles of the Atlantic coast in Lake Worth, making it possible for anglers to sometimes hook ocean sportfish from the Lake Worth Municipal Pier. Nearby Lantana Beach is a favorite family destination, which offers an inshore reef, sand dunes, a playground, restaurant and showers. Many nights in Lake Worth you will find free concerts by local and regional artists, and sometimes nationally known professionals. Restaurants in the area are good and plentiful and offer fresh fish, seafood, key lime pie and other regional favorites.
